Gunga Din by The Libertines

The Libertines have finally released a new single after their surprise performance at Glastonbury last weekend. Gunga Din is still The Libertines that you fell in love with, with Carl and Pete's vocals being a mellow dream to get lost in, but Gunga Din is a more matured version of the lads, showcasing a different sound to what we've come to expect. The single also comes with a video which sees Pete and Carl with their arms around each other putting to bed any notion that they ever hated each other. Gunga Din aside, The Libertines have also announced they are to release album Anthems For Doomed Youth on September 4th, which will follow their headliner slot at Reading and Leeds Festival the weekend before.
